Kevin Quevedo is a hot commodity these days.
According to AS Peru, Werder Bremen is tracking Kevin Quevedo’s performances with Alianza Lima and are said to be very intrigued.
The same publication previously reported that Quevedo had interest from New York City FC in Major League Soccer. The current Peruvian champions are supposedly resigned to losing the young winger in January, regardless of who snaps him up first.
Provided a deal is agreed upon between the two clubs, Quevedo would join Bremen in January and would link up with fellow Peruvian Claudio Pizarro, who is a legend at the club. Universitario youngster Tiago Cantoro will also be heading to Werder Bremen on a trial.
Kevin Quevedo has recorded eight goals and seven assists in 60 league appearances for Alianza since the start of last season. However, coach Pablo Bengoechea has left him out of the team for either skipping training or showing up late on a couple of occasions.
